A summary of the work life at BDW:

  • 22 hour working week
  • Work 5 days and have 2 consecutive days off.
  • 35 PAID days off within the one-year contract period.
  • 4 weeks summer camp and 4 weeks winter camp (around 5-9 hours p/w)
  • 2 hours administrative hours per week. No additional designated 'desk hours'.  Lesson plans written at times and places to suit you.
  • School managed apartment option.
  • SAFEA Government licensed foreign teacher language school.  This means we can legally employ foreign nationals.
  • Ideal for ‘gap year’ graduates.
  • Optional free round trip transport to all teaching sites.
  • All foreign teachers live in close walking distance proximity to each other and the main teaching site.
  • From job offer to visa advice to meeting you at the airport to training you up for your first class, we’re with you every step of the way.
  • Residence permit and medical expenses paid for by the school if conducted here in Changchun under the school’s direction, subject to contract completion.
  • Contract completion bonus
  • 7 day initial training and orientation (subject to scheduling needs) before your contract begins to prepare you for your classes.
  • On-going training and development.
  • Complete 24/7 support such as for medical needs, booking travel and emergency translation.
  • Processing of your work Z visa (your passport will be handed back to you after it is returned to us from the local visa department).
  • Salaries direct deposit into a debit card bank account on a specified date each month.
