Ni hao (hello)! Welcome to the BDW ESL Teacher Online Resource. This website is designed to give prospective ESL Teachers a transparent insight to teaching at our school and indeed, in China. Why? Because we know you've either heard all the horror stories or your family and friends think you are weird, wanting to teach in Communist China. Here, we want to do a bit of myth busting ;-)
People from all over the world choose to teach here for all kinds of reasons but whatever your reason is (as long as it's legal and decent), we’d like to hear from you. We pride ourselves on the quality of teaching we provide for all our students as well as striving to ensure that our greatest assets, our foreign teachers, get the most out of their time whilst living in China both professionally and personally. Yes, we know every employer in the world would say that - but we actually mean it. We believe that what makes us stand out from other schools is the security of being legally and fairly employed at a school that really has our foreign teachers' needs at heart.
